Karl R. Garman

Karl R. Garman, 72, of Harrisburg, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Born in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Calvin and Florence (Schoffstall) Garman. Karl proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed collecting records, riding motorcycle and photography. Karl is survived by two brothers, Robert Garman, husband of Phyllis of Mount Joy and Thomas Garman, husband of Judy of Lancaster; a sister, Nancy Parmer, wife of Gardiner of Manheim; five nieces; and two nephews. A memorial service honoring Karl's life will be held at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home before the service from 10 AM to 11 AM. Interment will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery.
