Justin S Halstead was a kind, loving brother and son passed away on August 30, 2017. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Jennifer (Siefken) Halstead and the late Scott M. Halstead. Justin proudly served in the United States Army, A-Co 1, 21st Infantry Regiment of the 2nd brigade-25th Infantry Division. Served over sees as a Stryker Driver in the Iraq War. Justin was a soft spoken, big hearted man who loved our family dearly. He enjoyed hiking, hunting and swimming outdoors. His favorite sports teams were the Steelers and Flyers. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters, Erica Halstead of Throop, PA and Michelle Bechdel of State College, PA; and two brothers, Liam Burke of Bainbridge, PA and Michael Bechdel of Lock Haven, PA. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 6 PM.
