Jeffrey S. Young Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jeffrey S. Young, 59, of Mount Joy, passed into the arms of his loving Savior the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Norman Young and Elizabeth (Dellinger) Young, of Lancaster. Jeffrey will be missed greatly by his wife of 23 years Judith A. (Gillenwater) Young. He will also be missed by his three children: Autumn M. Parsons and Derian R. Young both of Mount Joy, Michael P. Evans of Elizabethtown; 3 grandchildren: June E. and Hunter R. Horn, and Warren P. Evans; one brother James E. Young, of Harrisburg, and one sister Lisa D. Brown, of Lancaster. Jeffrey was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster. He worked in quality control for Phoenix Contact in Harrisburg. Jeffrey was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Mount Joy and also attended Heritage Baptist Church in Manheim. He loved to play table hockey and was a member of the Table Hockey League of Hershey. Jeffrey was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the New York Jets. A Memorial Service celebrating Jeffrey's life will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 7 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church 151 Orange Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the American Diabetes Association 301 Chestnut Street #101, Harrisburg, PA 17101.
