Harold W. "Had" "Pap" Buller Sr., 89, of Mount Joy, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Florin, he was the son of the late Theodore and Minerva Buller. Had was the husband of June (Nace) Buller whom he would have celebrated 65 years of marriage this June 23rd. Had proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked for the New Cumberland Army Depot for 35 years before his retirement. Had was a 77 year member of Glossbrenner United Methodist Church in Mount Joy. He was also a charter member of the Florin Anglers Club, a life member of the Florin Fire Department, a life member of the Mount Joy VFW Post 5752, and a member of the Tri-County Rod and Gun Club. Had enjoyed fishing, hunting, bird watching, running a produce stand at his home and most all spending time with his family. Surviving in addition to his wife, June, are two children, Nancy Hopple, wife of Richard of Mount Joy and Harold "Had" Buller Jr., husband of Tracey of Mount Joy; two granddaughters, Amy Kern, wife of Travis of Harrisburg and Amanda Buller, of Elizabethtown; three great grandchildren, Payten, Lucas and Hadleigh Kern; two brothers, Emlen Buller, of Mount Joy and David Buller, of Manheim; and a step-sister, Ella Otto of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore and Clarence Buller; and a sister, Minerva Wagner. A memorial service honoring Harold's life will be held at Glossbrenner United Methodist Church, 713 Church Street, Mount Joy, on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received at the church before the service from 9 AM to 11 AM. Interment will be private at Camp Hill Cemetery, Mount Joy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glossbrenner United Methodist Church "Elevator Fund", 713 Church Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
