Florence S. O'Brien

Florence S. O'Brien, 90, of St. Anne's Retirement Community, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Ida (Hilbert) Stork. Florence was the wife of the late Paul A. O'Brien Jr. who passed away on December 31, 1983.             Florence is survived by four children: Kevin A. O'Brien, husband of Alice Rowan O'Brien, of Wilmington DE; Elizabeth L. O'Brien, wife of Hendrik Driessen, of the Netherlands; David P. O'Brien, husband of Elaine McCallum O'Brien, of Plymouth MN; and Jennifer C. O'Brien, wife of Keith Cowing, of Reston VA. Also surviving are five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four sisters and a brother.             She was preceded in death by three siblings.             A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne's Retirement Community Chapel, 3952 Columbia Avenue, Columbia on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 1 PM. Family and friends will be received at the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 6 PM to 8 PM. (There is no viewing on Friday.) Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave, Columbia, PA 17512.
