Anthony K. "Tony" Greiner

Anthony K. “Tony” Greiner, 70, of Columbia, passed away at his home on Friday, July 16th, 2021. Tony studied entomology at Millersville University after graduating from Elizabethtown High School. He then pursued a career with Ehrlich Pest Control where he worked for over 40 years. Tony enjoyed running in his earlier years and skiing in Vermont. He also enjoyed being outdoors and being around animals. He had an extensive bug collection. Along with being a bug enthusiast, he also shared a passion and love for horses. He was a very hard worker both at his job and around his Columbia home that he shared with his lifelong companion, Mary Schoenberger. Tony helped operate Glide Ride Stables on their Columbia property. Tony’s horse, Legend, was among one of the many riding horses there. Mary and Tony also owned many Dobermans over the years. Tony is survived by a brother, Tyler (Joanie) Greiner of Arizona. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mabel Jane Greiner. A memorial picnic honoring Tony's life will be held at 761 Kames Hill Road, Columbia at the horse barn on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2PM.
