Abram A. Brownsberger Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Abram Brownsberger, 90, of Marietta, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Penn Township, he was the son of the late Jacob and Anna (Arndt) Brownsberger. Abram was the husband of Arlene (Engle) Brownsberger with whom he celebrated 67 years of marriage. Abe worked for Nolts Ponds/That Fish Place for many years. He was a member of the Elizabethtown Brethren Christ Church where he enjoyed coffee time with his friends before service. Abe loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He spent many hours in the outdoors, watching sports, and reading. Surviving in addition to his wife, Arlene, are two daughters, Beverly Heinaman, wife of Charles of Marietta and Audrey Bentley, wife of Mark of Norwood, GA. Eight grandchildren, Ryan (Nicole) Heinaman, Nathan Heinaman, Matthew (Ashley) Heinaman, Renee Heinaman, Megan (J.P.) Eslava, Lauren Bentley, Callie (Robbie) Thorpe, Shannon Bentley. Four great grandchildren, Jake, Annabella, Brayden and Tyler Heinaman. A sister, Naomi Fox of Fleetwood, PA. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Edith Brownsberger, Katie Brownsberger, Ruth Ginder, and Elsie Brownsberger. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
