                T. Daisy Neiss, born January 6, 1938, died on November 14, 2017 at age 79 years. The 4th daughter of Harry Brooks III and Thelma Brooks Bowman (both deceased), she lived her entire life in Florin and Mount Joy, PA. She was unfortunately preceded in death too early by her beloved husband Asher Neiss and older sisters Nancy Norris and Pauline Smith. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Kelly (wife of Donald) and son Asher Neiss and sister Dorothy (Dot) Zeller (wife of Charles), all of Mount Joy and brother Harry Brooks IV (and wife Matsuko) of Gaithersburg, MD. She lived for more than 52 years in her home at West Donegal Street, Mount Joy, moving only recently to Juniper Village.

She graduated from Donegal High School in 1955 (its 1st class) and was employed by Armstrong World Industries in keypunching and account reconciliation. A perfectionist, she excelled at her work.

She and her sisters enjoyed playing the piano and marimba, especially early musicals and Broadway tunes and Christmas songs.

She adored her dogs, Miniature Schnauzers Heidi and Molly and little Yorkie Tara. She loved gardening, where she cherished her peonies, mimosa trees and poppies. She had fond memories of family and friends summer vacations at the shore in New Jersey, especially Wildwood Crest and Cape May.

She was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Please send all donations in her memory to them at 47 West Main Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552.

There will be no viewing or funeral service. Her body has been donated as per her wishes to the Humanity Gifts Registry (Hershey Medical Center) to benefit medical science.
