Sandra L. Reinhold

Sandra "Sandy" Reinhold (Good), 82, a lifelong resident of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully while under hospice care on February 20th, 2025, after numerous health battles. She was preceded in death by her son Bobby and her sisters Pauline Miller, Margaret ‘Peg’ Geibe, Louise Gingrich, Doris Treichler, and Nancy Stevens. She looked forward to seeing her son, sisters, mother and father in Heaven. Sandy was the daughter of the late David Elmer Good and Ethel (Fair) Good. She was the wife of Barry E. Reinhold, and was excited to celebrate their 54th wedding anniversary in July. Sandy was a member of the Elizabethtown Area High School Class of 1961 where she played on the field hockey team and was part of the cheerleading squad, showcasing her competitive spirit. Sandy worked at M & M Mars for over a decade before retiring in 1985. She spent the following years volunteering at East High Elementary School then returned to the workforce, becoming the office manager at Armorboard Packaging from 2001 to 2017. She was beloved by all customers who called into the office. Sandy especially enjoyed time with her family. She could always be found in the stands, cheering on her numerous grandchildren at their sporting events, or sitting on the front porch with her children. Her family looked forward to her homemade lasagna, chicken corn soup, and her 8-hour spaghetti sauce. Professional sports were always on her TV, especially games with her favorite teams: the Kansas City Chiefs and the Golden State Warriors. She was a member of several card parties and bowled at Clearview Lanes with her sister Nancy for numerous years. Laughing with her sisters over a cup of coffee brought her so much joy, and she always looked forward to the yearly D.E. Good Family reunion. Surviving in addition to her husband are three children: Gary Reinhold of Bethany Beach and his wife Jennifer, Jody Gustin of York, married to Christopher, and Nicole Gartrell of Baltimore, married to Brad. Sandy had six grandchildren, Mitchell (married to Serena), Alex (married to Sasha), Drew (married to Nikita), Taylor (married to Gage), Laney, and Thompson. Sandy had one great-grandchild, Zion. She will always be proud of her great-grandchild and her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses that have helped treat Sandy over the years, from her battle with breast cancer to her fight with COPD. Notable staff include Dr. Rittenhouse and his team at Norlanco and the team of doctors and nurses at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy where she was lovingly cared for during her final days. A private service for her children will be held at Sheetz Funeral Home in Mount Joy, PA. Interment will be at Good’s Mennonite Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive Lancaster, PA, 17601.
