Kari A. Gantz

Kari A. Gantz, 41, of Bainbridge, went home to be with her Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Kari was the loving wife of Bradley R. Gantz of Bainbridge whom she celebrated almost 19 years of marriage, and mother to their two sons, Parker and Ethan. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Michael F. Sr. and Deborah A. (Everett) Reilly of Mount Joy. Also surviving; her mother in law, LuAnn Gantz, wife of the late Michael of Rheems; her maternal grandmother, Patricia Everett, wife of the late Richard of Mount Joy; two brothers, Michael Reilly, husband of Amber of Mount Joy and Brian Reilly of Hanover, MD; and a brother in law, Michael, husband of Sarah Gantz. She also leaves behind two nieces, Alena and Ava, and three nephews, Josiah, Owen and Liam. Kari was a graduate of Elizabethtown Area High School class of 2002. She most recently worked at General RV as a title clerk. Prior to that she held jobs at Hershey Medical Center, Masonic Villages and various Hair Stylist positions. Kari’s proudest roles were that of being a mother to Parker and Ethan and a wife to Brad. Everything she did was with them in mind. She was determined to make memories with Brad and their boys up to the very end. The legacy she has left them is full of those beautiful moments that they will carry with them forever. Kari enjoyed crocheting, making gifts for people and hair styling. She also loved all things outdoors; camping, four wheeling, bonfires, trips to the beach and especially spending time with her dogs. She was always up for an adventure with family and friends. Kari had a love for people. She made friends wherever she went. Her laugh was contagious and her sense of humor was unmatched. Her bright smile will forever be missed by everyone. A funeral service honoring Kari’s life will be held at Florin Church of the Brethren, 815 Bruce Avenue, Mount Joy, PA 17522 on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11 AM. Family and friends will be received at the church on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 6 PM to 8 PM and again on Saturday before the service from 930 AM to 11 AM.
