HELEN NEESE

Helen Neese, 79 of Maytown, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at the Masonic Villages of Elizabethtown surrounded by her family. Born in Sunbury, PA, Helen was the daughter of the late John Frederick Scholvin and the late Dorothy Warfield (Charles) Bostian.A 1955 graduate of Sunbury High School, Helen worked for RCA of Lancaster early in her career. She later retired from the former Datcon Industries , now Maxima Industries Lancaster. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was an active member of the Elizabethtown Senior Center where she was involved in many activities and held secretarial positions for several organizations.Helen is survived by her six children, Milly (David) Mummau of Milton Grove; Tammy (Ricky) White of Manheim; Linda (Randy) Ziegler and Vicki (Barry) Hohenwarter both of Landisville; Michelle Young-Nell of Maytown and Charles Neese II of Landisville. Twelve grandchildren; Greg, Jessica, Cody, and Jennifer Mummau, Sheila Dombroski, Kimberly Albert, Carrie Ziegler, Sarah Nurnberg, Steven Hohenwarter, Zachary and Lindsey Young and Tim Nell; nine great grandchildren; Alex DeFlavia, Tristan, Peyton, and Tobin Albert, Lucas and Nolan Dombroski, Lilliana Smith, Zade Young and Shekina Cabrera.Also surviving are her sisters: Sandra (Walter) Erdman, Bonnie (Ronald) Spangler, Elsie Marquart and Sherry Rife as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother John Scholvin.Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 22nd, at 2 PM at John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, One Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown 17022. A viewing will be held from 12 to 2 PM. Interment to follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Garden, Columbia. A reception will be held at the Columbia No. 1 Fire Dept., 137 S. Front Street, Columbia, following the interment.
