Wagner Tillett, Carole A.

Carole A. Wagner Tillett, 67, of 216 Pinkerton Road, Mount Joy went to be with her Lord, while surrounded by her family, on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at her home, after a lengthy illness. She was married to William W. Tillett for 26 years. Her first husband, John D. Wagner passed away in October of 1979.
Carole was self employed and operated her business out of her home for the past five years. Previously she worked several years for the former Clearview Diner, Mount Joy and prior to that managed the deli for Albright’s Market, Manheim for over 10 years. Carole attended St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Mount Joy. She loved music, singing in area churches for many years and also enjoyed flowers, especially roses. A favorite past time was working on crossword puzzles. Above all, Carole delighted in spending time with her family and loved taking trips to the beach at Ocean City, Maryland with them.
Born in Marietta, she was the daughter of the late Harry, Jr. and Ruth Waller Druck.
In addition to her husband, Bill, Carole will be missed by her son, Harry A. married to Mary E. Kennedy Wagner, Columbia; three daughters, Lisa C. married to Ken Fuhrman, Elizabethtown, Casey J. married to Brian Horetsky, Middletown, and Jill M. Wagner, Manheim; eight grandchildren and a great granddaughter; a brother, Harry, III married to Brenda Druck, Raleigh, NC; and a sister, Ruth Marchand, St. Louis, MO. She is also survived through marriage by four daughters, Beth, married to Larry Diehl, Duncansville, Ruth married to Jack Grissom, FL, Dorothy married to Mark Mitchell, Holidaysburg, and Heather Tillett, King of Prussia; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service celebrating Carole’s life will be held at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 27 East Main St., Mount Joy on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 11 am with the Reverend David E. Woolverton officiating. (Please use the main entrance to the rear of the Church.) Interment to follow in Mount Joy Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sheetz Funeral Home, 16 East Main St., Mount Joy on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm and again on Wednesday morning at St. Mark’s Church from 10 until 11 am.
