Timothy R. Tennis, 33 of 449 South Plum St., Mount Joy passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 4, 2006.
A 1993 graduate of Penn Manor High School, Tim worked for Berk-Tek Inc. of New Holland for the past 5 years. Prior to that time he worked for Donsco Inc. of Wrightsville.
Tim especially enjoyed outdoor sports and recreation, hunting and fishing were his passion. He was a member of both the Columbia Fish and Game Assoc. and the Mount Joy Sportsmenís Association.
Born in Huntingdon on June 10, 1973, he was the son of Jennifer Piper Tennis of Alexandria, and John R. Tennis companion of Dottie Smith, of Manheim. In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother, Michael J. Tennis of Phillipsburg.
A Funeral Service honoring Timís life will be held from the Sheetz Funeral Home, Inc. 16 East Main Street, Mount Joy on Monday, October 9, 2006 at 11 AM. Friends may call at the Sheetz Funeral Home on Monday morning from 9 to 11 AM.
Additional Funeral Services and interment will take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 11 AM from the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 501 St. Peterís Street, Petersburg PA. Interment to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Petersburg PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Tim may be made to Epilepsy Foundation Eastern Pennsylvania, 919 Walnut Street Ste 700, Philadelphia, PA 19107-5237.
